Provides a wide range of counselling services for adolescents. Referrals to clinic required by a professional, such as a doctor or school counsellor. Clinic is located in a trailer on the grounds of Sunny Hill Hospital. Clinic hours are Monday to Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

RICHMOND HOSPITAL

Provides psychiatric assessment, intervention, discharge planning and follow-up referrals to residents of Richmond and South Delta with emotional and mental illness. Services include crisis intervention, supportive psychotherapy and health teaching.

Tertiary mental health facility providing specialized treatment and rehabilitation for acute and chronic psychiatric patients 18 years and older. Referrals to Adult, Geriatric, and Community Psychiatry Divisions are made through psychiatric units in community general hospitals and mental health centres. ROYAL COLUMBIAN HOSPITAL

Inpatient Services: Three 20-bed inpatient units. A specific seven-bed Schizophrenia Service devoted to the diagnosis, care and research of the schizophrenic patient. A 20-bed unit that houses 15 Mood Disorder Service beds for the diagnosis and treatment of difficult mood disorders, and 5 beds for complex neuropsychiatric cases. There is also a 20-bed unit open for general psychiatric services. Referrals are accepted from psychiatrists, clinical practitioners, mental health teams and community agencies.

Sleep Disorders Clinic

Provides assessment of patients with sleep disorders, with a particular emphasis on chronic insomnia, and sleep disturbances associated with psychiatric and medical disorders. Clinic has a 3-bed sleep laboratory for investigation of patient's sleep patterns. Referrals from physicians only.
